About Chi

Started 7 years ago, Chef Chi Le had her first restaurant located in Kitsilano, the concept was a modern Vietnamese restaurant. Having experience as a runner up on Masterchef Vietnam she wanted to highlight dishes that were eaten in Vietnamese families at home. When the global pandemic had forced restaurants to shut down she got to thinking of what her impact was with a small business and chef. She unexpectedly opened after closures were lifted as a completely plant based restaurant with a new menu. Here we are now, a Vietnamese inspired contemporary restaurant focusing on the beautiful characteristics of vegetables. As our menu constantly evolves every season we push ourselves to show vegetables that are local to our climate.
